Food Waste Educational Exhibition

Aubree held a food waste educational exhibition in the International Volunteering Day hosted by HKFYG with the sponsorship from HSBC. With the kind assistance of parents and students from Po Leung Kuk Centenary Li Shiu Chung Memorial College, we educated 300+ visitors about environmental protection and how food waste shall be reduced, reused and recycled. Our food waste transformer was also displayed to demonstrate how food waste can be used to raise fish and grow vegetables.

Jack Cheng, aged 25, is the founder of Aubree Ltd. He started his social enterprise right upon graduation. He won several competitions including Hong Kong Social Enterprise 2008, China Challenge Cup 2010 and Young Social Entrepreneur Award 2011.
North District Flower-Bird-Insect-Fish Exhibition 2012

Aubree Ltd introduced its novel food waste recycling biotechnology to the public in the North District Flower-Bird-Insect-Fish Exhibition 2012. The picture showed how some kids play with the black soldier fly larvae. In fact, they are part of the ecosystem and beneficial to our environment. Plus, they can be used as nutritious feed for fish.
